Healing begins here.
About me
Kathryn H. Cranor, MA, LPC, SEP
With a deep grounding in somatic and trauma-informed approaches, I am a dedicated therapist committed to helping clients reconnect with their bodies, build resilience, and heal from the inside out. Drawing on years of clinical experience and specialized training in nervous system regulation, attachment, and embodied processing, I create a safe, compassionate space for meaningful transformation.
In addition to working directly with clients, I am passionate about mentoring fellow therapists through engaging, experiential training that integrates somatic theory with practical application—equipping professionals to work more confidently and effectively with trauma in all its forms.
Healing is for everyone.
Services
Individual Therapy
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Individual therapy offers a supportive, judgment-free space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or simply want to understand yourself better, therapy can help you gain clarity, build confidence, and feel more in control of your life.
Healing begins in the body. Somatic trauma therapy offers a gentle, body-based approach to resolving the effects of trauma by helping you reconnect with your nervous system, restore a sense of safety, and build resilience from the inside out. Rather than focusing solely on talking about the past, we work with the present—sensations, movement, breath, and awareness—to release stored survival energy and shift long-held patterns. This process supports deep, lasting change and a more grounded, empowered connection to yourself and the world around you.
Relationship Therapy
You're not alone — every relationship has its ups and downs.
Relationship therapy is a space for couples (or individuals) to talk openly, rebuild trust, improve communication, and reconnect. Whether you're navigating conflict, distance, or big life changes, therapy can help you understand each other better and move forward—together. By tuning into body cues like breath, posture, and sensation, we uncover the deeper patterns driving conflict or disconnection. Together, we create space for more regulation, safety, and presence—so you and your partner can move from reactivity to repair, from survival to genuine connection.
Professional Consultation
Deepen Your Skill, Expand Your Confidence
Therapeutic consultation with a somatic focus offers a space for clinicians to deepen their embodiment, refine attunement, and explore the interplay between their own nervous systems and the therapeutic relationship. Grounded in somatic principles, this consultation supports therapists in tracking their internal states, working with countertransference somatically, and cultivating a felt sense of safety and regulation both for themselves and their clients.
Together, we explore clinical cases through a lens that honors body-based knowing, implicit communication, and the wisdom of the nervous system. Whether you're navigating complex trauma dynamics, rupture and repair, or questions of scope and pacing, this consultation encourages reflective, embodied clinical presence that sustains both effectiveness and sustainability in your work.

Katie is a Somatic Experiencing and Developmental Trauma Specialist. These skillsets enable the nervous system to become more regulated (ie becoming more comfortable in ones own skin). This a modality that has a ripple effect into many domains of life. Regulating the nervous system in one area of life—such as learning to stay grounded during conflict or stress—can create a ripple effect across other domains, like deepening relationships, improving focus, or enhancing emotional resilience. When the body learns safety and regulation, it doesn't compartmentalize; it carries that sense of balance into how we parent, partner, work, and care for ourselves. Somatic healing in one space becomes embodied transformation everywhere.
In person sessions can include touch therapy to assist resolution of held trauma in the body.
